MeloCare is a subscription service providing additional protections, which are not covered by the warranty, for Melofair devices. Each MeloCare plan covers one (1) free replacement of a Melofair device in the case of loss/theft or uncovered damages by the warranty during the covered period. Each Melofair device comes with a free 6-month MeloCare plan starting from the date of your purchase of the device.

Why Should I Have MeloCare?

Hearing aids are small delicate devices that can be easily lost, stolen or accidentally damaged. Our customer research shows that 47% customers of hearing aids once experienced loss of at least one of the pair within 2 years after their purchase. Unexpected losses and damages cause only 26% hearing aids can reach their life time. We always hear stories how people lose or damage their hearing aids during hiking, badminton or other kind of activities, and we even once hearing how a dog eats the owner’s hearing aids.

However, losses or thefts are NOT covered by warranties. Warranty only covers limited type of defects and damages from human damages are usually NOT covered (imagine if you accidentally step on the delicate devices during a basketball game). And no insurance company would like to issue a special insurance against losses or accidental damages for your hearing aids.

When can I buy MeloCare?

Help you FULLY embrace the society is always our promise and commitment. We can understand you need more consideration on MeloCare. Thus, we present a free 6-month MeloCare with every MeloCare hearing aid that is activated when you receive the product and you can decide to buy a new one during the period. You can buy a new MeloCare plan any time before all MeloCare plans (including the 6-month free MeloCare) of the device are voided (meaning used or expired).

What is the process to request a replacement?

In case of damages of your device, you should first submit a warranty claim and we will provide you further guidance to return the device to our repair center. If we find out the damages are not covered by the warranty or out of our repair ability after our review, we would inform you to submit a replacement claim checking the box of “uncovered damages” with the original device purchase receipt. In case of loss/theft of your device, you need to submit a replacement claim checking the box of “loss/theft” with the original device purchase receipt. The warranty of your original device and the remaining coverage time of the MeloCare plan used for the replacement automatically voids upon our approval of your replacement claim. The 6-month free MeloCare would be used first before any of your paid MeloCare plans.

MeloCare is only tied to original devices, and replacement devices do not have the free 6-month MeloCare. You can only purchase MeloCare plans for an original device no later than all tied MeloCare plans (including the free 6-month plan) void. If you have unused MeloCare plans tied to an original device after a replacement claim, a MeloCare plan would be automatically activated upon our approval of the replacement claim.

MeloCare cannot be used “partially”. You cannot request replacement for a part of the device (left-side hearing aid, right-side hearing aid, charging case, USB cable, ear tips or cleaning tool).
